A Message from George Kerchner, Executive Director

Over the past sixteen years PRBA has developed cooperative working relationships with transportation and environmental organizations ranging from local and national groups throughout North America to national and international industry related trade associations in Europe and Asia. These relationships will assist PRBA member companies in dealing with "globalization" issues such as the transportation, collection and labeling of rechargeable batteries as they produce and sell globally.

The association's many successes and accomplishments can be credited to our standing committees. Virtually all of our activities, programs, publications and other member benefits derive from the work of these committees. These committees, (Legislative, Recycling, and Communications) are chaired and staffed by member company representatives who volunteer their time and energy and, with the generous support of their companies, plan and execute virtually all that we do as an organization. We urge new member company representatives to consider becoming an active participant on one of these committees.
