Testing Labs for Lithium Batteries

The PRBA members listed below provide services for testing lithium batteries pursuant to the requirements of the UN Manual of Tests and Criteria and other battery standards. The U.S. Department of Transportation’s hazardous materials regulations (49 CFR) and international dangerous goods regulations (IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations, ICAO Technical Instructions and IMDG Code) require lithium cells and batteries be tested in accordance with the UN Manual of Tests and Criteria prior to being offered for transportation.
