PRBA at the 39th Annual International Battery Seminar & Exhibit

The International Battery Seminar & Exhibit is hosting its 39th annual conference today in Orlando, Florida. The conference integrates representatives across the entire advanced battery ecosystem to engage in discussions regarding battery research and development, battery manufacturing, advanced applications, and breakthroughs in engineering technology. PRBA Executive Director George Kerchner joins the conference once again this year and will host a two-hour workshop to address new shipping requirements currently under consideration by the U.S. Department of Transportation and international transport agencies that will significantly impact the air transport of lithium ion batteries and products powered by them. George will also cover during the workshop new lithium ion battery storage requirements recently adopted for the International Fire Code and New York City’s amended fire code impacting battery powered industrial trucks, equipment and mobility devices.
